When I was in high school I encountered the Lords mercy and love on a tech retreat. Going into this retreat I did not really care or know about Jesus or that I could have a relationship with him which led me to believe that I was wasting my time. It wasn’t until I was able to go to adoration on the retreat that I really deeply encountered Jesus and His Mercy! I was struck by the beautiful experience and it led me to want to grow closer to our Lord! A few years later after graduating from High School I had the longing on my heart to work for the church. I had been going to college but always felt this call! The year of 2016-2017 I applied for Net Ministries and was blessed to be part of a 
amazing organization that put on catholic retreats for parishes around the country. I was on a traveling retreat team that did 132 retreats that year and my urge to continue this journey of working for our Lord by helping others encounter him grew! 

Jesus always is calling us closer to him and is always desiring a relationship with every one of us. This realization that entered my life fueled my faith life and also my own relationship with our Lord! Jesus wants our lives filled with excitement but, I have learned time and time again that my plans are little compared to the amazing plans Jesus has! 

After finishing Net Ministries, I returned home to Platteville, Wisconsin and continued my journey through life! Now the Lord is continuing my journey with St. Augustine’s!
